That is a good shot. I've seen humans catching it, but never knew about a mechanical arm being used. Love these old shots from back in the day.

I've seen plenty of shots of hooping up train orders, but catching mailbags on the fly seems to have eluded most photographers from back when it was the norm. Why this shot wasn't the top shot the day it was posted is a mystery!
