It does appear as if the train is just "driving" across the field of snow without rails.

There is no train traffic during the day on these rails after the last of 5 commuter trains heads south to Toronto in the morning. The snow has had about 10 hours to blow over the tracks before this, the first return trip, heads back to the yard at around 5:00 PM.
