WOW! This BNSF Dash-9 needs the paint shop now. I have never seen a Dash-9 on any RR that has been tagged before. Well, I guess there is a first for everything.

From the thumnail pic, I thought this was a Dash 9 overseas somewhere.

Once, when railfanning near Newark, NJ, I saw an ex-CR SD60I with an odd graffiti marking on its engineer-side, right below the window. That was a while ago, and other than that I've never seen a loco that's been vandalized. You'd think that BNSF would take notice and repaint 4484. But a little bit of art can't make a paint scheme like that any worse...

Aren't these engines usually orange? Did it fade? And why is there part of a warbonnet scheme next to the "4484" markings? What a mess.

I saw that same loco with that same tag over a year ago out on the Needles Sub! We need an Adopt-A-Loco Program.

The graffitti almost looks like a logo, this unit deserves better than this.

"Hey, I wonder where that yellow locomotive...Oh my goodness!!"

I seriously laughed when I saw this picture. Great capture.

I can not think of a time when I've ever seen a british loco with vandalism, on it like this and that's in over 30 years worth of interest. I have seen it on coal hoppers both owned by (formerly) by EWS (now DBs unfortunately! personal opinion about DBs no offence meant) and on Freightliner's coal hoppers. Yes it needs a repaint!
