Hopefully as I write this nearly 7 months after this photo was taken, this very rare unit is still racking up the miles for the BNSF. Just for kicks and giggles, BNSF should pick this engine as their "heritage" unit and paint it as BN's 1976 bicentennial unit. Lots of p.r. value in that I think.

BNSF SDP40 6327 will live on. It's new destination is Minnesota Transportation Museum.
There it will most likely see roster duty on the Osceola and St Croix Valley Railroad Osceola WI.
