Actually, that would be Northeastern California ;) That line is now owned and operated by the Modoc Northern, who operates the Klamath Falls, OR to Alturas portion, as well as the Lake County RR from Alturas to Lakeview, OR. The current Modoc line ends at McCarthur, about 10 miles south of Alturas, the line between McCarthur and the Wendel was removed a few years ago.
