Thought when helpers and emptys working together would caused derailments on curves ?. I Beleive Ex Southern Pacific had that issue. Anyway nice picture and thanks for sharing.

I don't believe there was ever a problem with empties behind a mid-train helper as long as there are no rear-end helpers.

I work for Canadian Pacific railway and we run helper units all the time.. even on the pariaries.
