Now that you have been in the cab of a CF7, it's rather nice once one catches his breath from the long climb. I can't remember a harder climb, except possibly the L & N Alco C628s and C630s. The CF7 that I climbed was in the VMV back lot in Paducah, Ky. and I still remember how hard it was, almost twenty years later. Now we know how the KRM keeps it's engine crews in shape. The BL-2s are like F units, you have to want to ride in one of those real bad to get in them.
