Awesome shot, Bob, thank you very much for sharing.This is a former authentic 50 series, probably a 50-100 series wich had universal vocation at CFR, and used to all kind of trains.In the same time, was the biggest steam loco serie in Romania.520 units were build in Romania and other with German components.They were fitted with Westinghous automatic brake valve and later with Knorr D2 type.Today, in Romania we can still find few units, most of them being scrapped or selled in the rest of Europe.Only one engine is still running.
