Amazing shot Steve! All the elements of a great image are present in this photograph. I mean that not just visually, but all the principles also. This is the definition of the results of not being a "fair weather railfan". Great work!

Nicely captured Steve. Looks like the kind of shot that either gets rejected or awarded on RP. ; ) The rain and headlights prevent this from being a dull evening shot. Nice job!

Asthetic qualities aside, this fine pic of SOO 4425 is interesting to me in that it spent the bulk of this past summer working the branch line train out of the Portage (WI) terminal (the M&P turn). Here it appears to be added to the consist of a westbound drag, perhaps CP train #587 or #291, maybe for servicing at St. Paul. Nice catch Steve.
