Well done. nice shot! Hope you didn't get your camera wet.

Amazing shot Steve! All the elements of a great image are present in this photograph. I mean that not just visually, but all the principles also. This is the definition of the results of not being a "fair weather railfan". Great work!

Cool shot Steve!! Like you can see the rain falling from the headlights.
|
Excellent picture Steve, I am glad to see that it got in.

Nicely captured Steve. Looks like the kind of shot that either gets rejected or awarded on RP. ; )
The rain and headlights prevent this from being a dull evening shot. Nice job!

Very nice shot Steve. This is a great example proving that you don't have to have perfect sunny weather to produce quality photos!

Asthetic qualities aside, this fine pic of SOO 4425 is interesting to me in that it spent the bulk of this past summer working the branch line train out of the Portage (WI) terminal (the M&P turn). Here it appears to be added to the consist of a westbound drag, perhaps CP train #587 or #291, maybe for servicing at St. Paul. Nice catch Steve.

Fantastic shot. Thought it was Scotland this summer for a moment. PCA from me.

Thanks for all the great comments guys!!!!!

It's hard to find a new superlative. This is a perfectly exposed and composed shot that tells a great story. Congrats!
