Spectacular photograph, Wade! Excellent clarity, detail and no sign of noise what so ever. Just how long was that exposure?? No doubt, it was Walong.

Superb - a well known and somewhat over-worked location with a difference, and the better for it!

Absolutely amazing Wade!

That reminds me of Robert Benkovitz's shot (# 42172), but I think yours is marginally better. I love the star pattern and the backgroud glow. POTW for my money!

Thanks, guys! My EXIF data shows 1034' for the exposure time and 1024' for the shutter speed. Either way, it was just over 17 minutes. I was very happy this train showed up because I could finally go to sleep!

I didn't think the other photo (42172) could be beat, but I was wrong! Awesome!!!

Two days? Wow. Great shot.

This is a great shot, Wade. The rotation of the stars really accents the lights from the trains and highway.

Stunning shot! What else can I say that hasn't already been said? A memorable moment in RP.Net history. I think I've already viewed this shot at least 10 tiems, and I'm sure I'll keep going back to it in the future!

This is a brilliant shot, Wade. It's certainly deserving of all the rewards it's received. Thanks for sharing! This is something I'm going to try to do, when I visit there, next year. What was the 'white balance' setting set to?
