"Deadlines" is such are harsh word to use with trains :-) I call them "Extra Power Lines" I do think that the reason for all this power to be put here is for when they have the Grain Train season when they will need this extra HP to run the trains around the system. I have seen this happen before at this location.

I wish the KCS would either buy or lease these units, they certainly would be better than the NREX B39-8s or our very own Mexican reject SD40-2s TFM 13-1400s on manifest or grain trains!
