Thats astonishing, unbelievable. Amazing how stupid people can be sometimes. She earned that.

Just plain stupid. Great timing on the shot by the way.

Man, this scares me on how stupid drivers are going in front of trains. Great shot though Chris.

I feel no sympathy for her. Great shot.

Are you saying that the train did in fact hit her car? It's strange how people can be selectively blind when there's a train nearby.

If we live long enough, we'll all get old someday and do some things not too bright. Now I'm not saying what she done was smart. Maybe she shouldn't be driving anymore. But what I want to know is, is she ok?

Wow! Glad it was only her car that got wrecked. Regardless of how fast the train was traveling, she did not excercise good judgement. Another near "Darwin Award" candidate.

That is an incredible shot. That lady better stop, look, and listen next time.

Did you get a shot of the aftermath?

This lady apparently isn't the sharpest tool in the shed... Chris, what I'm wondering is if you forwarded this photo to the police. I'm sure there was some type of accident report taken as well as (hopefully) a summons issued for this traffic infraction. If in fact there was a summons issued, and this whole mess ends up in court this would prove to be invaluable/indisputable evidence. It not only places the driver and her car at the scene, but also shows that all signals were functioning and that the engineer was properly using his ditch lights. If you haven't sent the police a copy, please do so!!

What I'm wondering is did the train hit the car or did she hit somthing afterwards? Also nice compisition!

Thats new albany for ya! One time I was getting a picture of a Northbound CSX and all of the sudden a girl pushing a stroller ran out in front of the train and almost one the darwin award. People have no common sense!!

I'm suprised there wasn't any sparks comeing off the side of the train! This shows you that the saying, "the older you get the smarter you get is NOT true!
