Excuse me, but I think you're referring to BRAKES and BRAKE PADS, right? Moreover, you must have got a break, because the last time I tried to photograph the running gear on the Sounders at Everett Station, the deputy stationed there made it clear that this was a no-no -- security reasons and all that! Or did you make your photographs and then make a break for it?

Yuk! With so many pivots and moving parts, these brakes must be a nightmare to take care of. You can actualy see the rusting metal powder oozing out of the pivots... Thanks for the closeup Mike.
