Great restoration job, but its still painful to look at. Sad that theres only that little stretch of track in front of it.

Are there plans to put a restored locomotive on the short track in front of this depot? It's nice to see buildings like these being restored instead of torn down. Thanks for sharing Joe!

With the main income stream for Society Hill being speeding tickets I doubt they can afford a locomotive or even a caboose.

I believe that's the old road bed in the background. Look off the back of the porch to the trees. The funny thing is that I always thought the tracks originally went on the other side of the depot. South Carolina Central now runs to Society Hill, but I think this part of the line was ripped up prior to that by either CSX or ACL. Very nice shot, Joe. You beat me it to it! LOL
