Which advocacy group will get the rights to that photo? Excellent photo - I'm that that nobody got hurt.

What a retard. Thanks goodness that the locomotive didn't run didn't run into the car

Now, the rest of the story.... The driver popped the curb, and tried to climb over the 132lb rail without any help. Q615 called the CN dispatcher asking for the Opelika PD and a wrecker. Once the car was snatched from the tracks, the driver was promptly taken away in a cruiser, most likely with a DUI. He's lucky his car is in one piece, and even luckier that he's alive! Nice photo. Reminds me of the time I saw a drunk driver drive down the platform at a Metra station that he thought was a street.

Great work Darrell. I always love the stories of the drunks who broadside the mid-section of a train because they did not see it when they were trying to go through the crossing. "Honest officer, I never saw it."

Man, glad this drunk driver didn't get hit by those trains. Great night shot though Darrell.

It would've been nice if his car got totaled, maybe he wouldve learned a lesson instead of a quick slap on the wrist from the court system.

Great shot! You have a PC nomination from me. As for the driver...all I can say is one thing. DUH!
