These units were withdrawn from service last summer (2006), right?
I noticed that the EMUs in the picture still have the BR logo - is this something South West trains did or was it just a (very) old paint job?

All the slam door EMU's were taken out of service in 2006 with the exception of two units. These two remaining units are still in use today and operate the Brockenhurst to Lymington Pier service. Although operated by South West Trains, they were both repainted in 2005 in 'heritage' colours, one being in BR blue and grey (pictured), and the other in 1960's BR green.
