This is not only one of the greatest photos on the site, but one of the best I have ever seen. Of course, the majority of this liking is because of the similarities to one of O.W.L's famous photos of the N&W. Your photo still stands out to be unique because of the impecable timing getting the number in one window and the Amtrak logo in the other. The person being silhouetted and the B&W give it even more personality. My jaw literally dropped when I first saw the full version of this photo, Jarrett. This is a true work of art!!! Perfection.

I agree with Bob and Andrew on their comments. Great emotion and feeling in this shot. If it weren't for 'ol Amtrak 118, it could easily be from any day of any week in the last 100 years.

Wow, let me add to the dead-on comments about perfect timing and great composition Jarrett! Seriously, by some chance and somce clever timing you were 1/2 a door window enlargement away from framing the contemporary "waving sheets" Amtrak logo perfectly. Even without the description, as per the loco # we Westcoasters know that this is one of the Coast Starlight Pool units! Also, Congrats on Screeners Choice - a GREAT award from the RP screeners. When you finish that nice SP SD45T-2R rebuild kitbash, do you plan to do a P42 'bash?..
