Very nice photo. I'm very glad that you gave us this shot after the one of the F units in the 'PA Train' I was dieing to know what that was all about. Anybody know how many PAs are left?

I believe I've seen a clip of this train in 'Early Diesels - A Search for Survivors' produced by Trains mag. The narrator said that one of the units had 'died' during the trip. The top headlight on the lead unit is turning.

The rear unit, #58, had died on the return trip. As a result, #67 was doing all the work and produced some typical ALCO smoke, especially on the runby at Port Chicago.
