It looks like an Alco RS1, always good.

The RS-1 is what they based the design from, or the rather the RSD-1 model. US military RSD-1's were originally the main power on the Trans-Siberian Railway. When the bulk of the RSD-1's went back to America, they needed more power, so they produced their own version of the RSD-1.
