cool shot Rich, I was doing a lot of railfanning around here at this time, just not enough photos and no slides to show for it. Squint really hard and you might see the Metrolink leased E-unit over to the northside of that right cut of Metrolink cars...

An amazing shot, love it! Another interesting thing caught in here is SP's LAPCX train on the other side of the river. The train was relatively new at the time, and still going strong today with the UP in charge.

The Santa Fe line in this location now hosts Los Angeles-Pasadena Gold Line light rail trains. While the alignment is the same, the AT&SF bridge has been replaced by a new, double-track span.
