Ever notice how there are numerous features on covered wagons that borrow similar designs to their cousins, 1950s era GM autos? For example, look at the ampmeter and see how close it resembles that of the speedometer on a '55-57 Chevy, or the wing window next to the larger engineer window... BTW, nice photo Jeff, and cool history too..

The NYC museum did a great job restoring this unit for display purposes. I wonder why, and how long ago, the orignal speed recorder was replaced.
