I agree with Byron and add my surprise that this relatively unknown RR has GE C44-9W's. Very nice photo and pretty cool livery for QNS&L.

This railroad is an isolated line (no connection to the N. America rail system) that runs from its southern point at Sept Iles (meaning seven islands), Quebec and runs about 400 miles north to Labrador City. No roads follow this line. Points north are only accessable by train. The QNSL is also known for running some of the world's longest trains, sometimes 4 miles long. They also used paired SD40-2's as helpers 2/3rds back.
