Cool. Sound very nice to see. That picture is also very artistic, in the fact, that the signal has an exempt sign on it, and their is a train over the crossing.

Yeah, the city of Reedsburg seems to like to think that this part of the line is abandoned when it is still (rarely) used. More than once they have put pavement in the flangeways and the train has had to dig it out with it's flanges as it rolls over. Sad but true.... Noah Hofrichter

I love street running, even if it is only for 100 feet or so! There is a strikingly similar NS crossing in the city where I work. It is used several times a week, primarily at night but I did see a couple locos and about 7 cars travel it a couple weeks ago. I might have to bring my camera with me this weekend just in case...

The "Exempt" sign just means that hazmat trucks and school buses dont need to stop at that crossing. I've seen them around on little used grade crossings
