Both trains were moving at 10 mph that close to each other??

Yes, both trains were moving 10 mph only 3 to 4 car lengths apart. This is the closest I've ever seen two trains running on the same track.

Well i guess they had to do anything possible to get the orders through.

At that slow a speed there's probably not nearly as much risk involved running trains so close together.

Wow, a trio of geep 60's running elephant style now that is a catch. I find it hard to believe they would run 2 trains that close together. That guy was probably like, "o.k. end of the train I will just mosey on over and....OH SH--!"

He's damn lucky there wasn't another train traveling in the opposite direction on that track to the right! He would have become a hood ornament.
