Just to add a note - the white cars in the background are brand new Metrolink commuter cars, being stored at the former SP Midway yard awaiting the startup of Metrolink service in October 1992. The MTA Gold Line shops are now located here, and the LA River bridge has been replaced with a double-tracked concrete structure.
