This a fantastic shot! FANTASTIC!

It's so scenic that it looks almost like a model railroad! Great photo.

Why would you think it's not real? Have you seen any of his other excellent work? This is a great shot!
It is almost model like but there are clues to it's reality ie. powerlines and manhole cover. They could be modeled but not likely.
This is a real picture. There are lots of details that are clearly not a model.
This is simply a great shot. I wonder how many flash bulbs were needed.
It is real. I have been to this location many times. The unique lighting accentuates the "model railroad" look but it is definitely real. Beautiful train, beautiful location, beautiful shot.
Fantastic shot!! There's no way that this is a model. For one thing, there's no way that someone could model all the detail that's shown in the FL-9's cab. But that doesn't matter right now. Just glad to actually see some active FL-9's around these days! Keep those shots coming!!
Amazing shot. I say POTW!
Certainly one of the greatest shots I've ever seen. The people who are wondering if it's real just look at a few things. The ballast, the lamp pole, the red barn next to the train. The background.
That does look fake! I know it's not - another amazing night photo Gary.
You should take the shot again - same location and set up a G-Scale train
loop in the grass! This would acutally be pretty cool with someone in the
shot sitting down maybe smoking a cigar for ultimate effect!
Another wonderful night image Gary...you put us all to shame. I won't even bother doing night images now because of your great work !!
I love being near the rails...but that house is too close for me!! Yikes!

Great shot, it would be great even if it was a model, but I know better.
