| Passing the Three Graces. Running just a mile or so north of Garibaldi, Oregon, Polson Logging Company #2 leads a double-header freight past the rocky shoreline where tourists typically pause to photograph the offshore rock formations known as the Three Graces. Although that's the primary attraction at this location, a 100+ year-old steam locomotive in sunset light is also a very inviting scene for rail photographers and tourists alike....and a lot of passers by stopped to photograph this train along with us. |
