An empty Norfolk Southern coal train curves around the wye at Appalachia, Virginia, headed to Andover Yard on May 12, 2014. Above the second locomotive and almost totally hidden by overgrown foliage is the old Louisville & Nashville, Interstate Railroad and Southern Railway shared freight house.
