In rural Northwest Barton County, MO, the north-south KCS Pittsburg Sub. and the north-south BNSF Ft. Scott Sub. cross in an area surrounded by former coal strip mines. This view is looking southeast, with the KCS leading off to the top right, and the BNSF to the top left.
