Remarks & Notes
On our travel day between Miles City and Helena, the Jimbo had the railroad tied up most of the day around Big Timber. Having completed their work, the 264 puts the train away in Livingston. The mainline is momentarily quiet during a brief break in an eastbound parade following the work window. Unfortunately, no westbounds would move up Bozeman Pass until much later. I'll have to come back sometime, but I was satisfied to at least get one decent shot of some older MRL power during our family vacation.

The American west is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful regions in the country. Rails rolling through wide open spaces.
