Remarks & Notes
Western Maryland K-2 Pacific No. 202 was built by Philadelphia's Baldwin Locomotive Works in July 1912. After 40 years of an easy life on the railroad's rather spartan passenger service it was retired in 1952. It is one of only two WM steam locomotives extant and is seen here under a protective canopy in the Hagerstown MD, City Park. Sadly, it's last restoration was over seven years ago and is in need of love again.
