Remarks & Notes
On a long abandoned industrial siding of the Walking Horse & Eastern sits this former Sante Fe Caboose. I know it's been here since at least 2006, and may have been here much longer. This was one of several cabooses the South Shore Line bought and used for a while. How and why it ended up here in Shelbyville I do not know. The WHOE did run an excursion train for a couple of years, perhaps they intended to refurbish this unit and use it for caboose rides on the tourist train.
