Remarks & Notes
Ab 663 was retired by NZ Railways in 1969 and was eventually stripped of parts for the Kingston Flyer Ab locomotives. It was purchased by Mainline Steam in 1983 and restored, being reunited with a tender (from 811.) 663 returned to mainline in 1997. Here it is captured approaching Bunnythorpe and Feilding steam depot to pick up coaches for excursions around Wanganui.
