Our first stop for service comes at Thorndale, where passengers are allowed to de-board and mingle about getting photos. We'll stay on the mainline to Lancaster, the Low Grade line shares the right of way here before diverging off towards Columbia. This is obviously one of Mr. Cherry's engines (Roundhouse Foreman, Camden Engine Terminal), as the "CTE" stencil indicates. Mr. Cherry was always friendly to railfans. The service track to the right (under wires) was able to be de-energized for the safety of service employees.
