Remarks & Notes
LUKENS Steel Company #10.

This little critter, I'll call it the "Coatesville Critter" is a narrow gauge 0-4-0T built in 1911. Lukens wanted a display engine and originally had two HK Porters purchased in 1902 but had since scrapped them. "#10" was found in Decature, Alabama last used by the Florida Paint and Turpentine Company. The engine was brought to PA for restoration by Lukens and later donated to the Lukens National Historic District in Coatsville, PA - about one block from the Amtrak /SEPTA station adjacent to the steel plant.
