Remarks & Notes
Wabash Cannonball. The Columbia Star dinner train is well into its return trip and is only a few minutes away from arriving back at the boarding location. The train, with a Wabash painted F7 at each end, is a modern depiction of what the short passenger trains on the Wabash looked like years ago. What a wonderful and refreshing sight it is in 2012. Though it resembles a Wabash train, the F7s are actually ex-Great Northern units and the two dinning cars are articulated and started life on the SP Daylights.
