Remarks & Notes
Due to a freight derailment near Kintyre, MT, the eastbound Empire Builder is running more than eight hours late as it flies around the curve west of Larimore. Hannah Junction was once the beginning of a branch line that jutted northward up to Conway, Langdon, and Hannah. Only the Conway to Langdon section is in place today, and it is accessed by trackage rights over the former Soo Line from Ardoch.

The wide open spaces of the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma have little service - one train for the entire state. South Dakota has none.
