The quietness is interrupted for a few moments as this westbound Z-train from Willow Springs, IL, to North Bay, CA, blast thru the small town of Elmer. Elmer has the population of 98 people, which is how most of northern Missouri is where the BNSF Marceline Sub skirts thru some these remote locations. Not alot out here except the Amish and a few small towns.
