Remarks & Notes
Former Buffalo Creek & Gauley #4, painted as Southwest Virginia #4, seen at Andover, VA on the Derby Branch in September 1971. The engine sat here from 1971 until the spring of 1975 when it entered tourist service on the former Bristol line between Moccasin Gap and Bristol, VA. The engine is now painted as Southern 604 and is on static display at Spencer, NC.
