| 2-8-0 #18 is seen at the station in Alamosa returning from the day's run. The Rio Grande Scenic operates excursions over the spectacular La Veta pass. Visitors can learn about the historic significance of the railroad in Alamosa from the monument in the foreground, and the railroad's other steam locomotive is undergoing repains on the siding in the background. |
