Lunch simmers on the backhead while this Fegua crew drives their Baldwin mike up the 2.8 per cent grade between Zacapa and the El Salvador border. The johnson bar looks to be pretty far into the corner, and the firing valve is about wide open, so the engine is probably working pretty hard. But the grade is even and the engine must be "balanced" with its load, since the crew appears to be relaxed and enjoying themselves.
