After meeting a westbound Santa Fe freight, Santa Fe 4-8-4 3751 starts its train (first fan trip: Los Angeles to Bakersfield, CA and return) at Woodford in California’s Tehachapi Mountains on a rainy December 29, 1991. Note the two filthy FP45 helpers.
