Down the Cincinnati Northern Mainline
In Cecil, OH the famed Napoleon Defiance & Western has a spur that serves Lafarge in Paulding, OH. This spur, that connects the mainline to the aggregate plant, traces its linage back to the Cincinnati Northern Railroad. This is one of just a few spots of trackage still in service from the railroad that was chartered in 1897 to connect Jackson, MI to just outside of Cincinnati, OH.
