Remarks & Notes
This loaded ore train is about 3 miles to the end of their journey. The train came out of Minntac Mine near Mount Iron and is bound for Two Harbors and a boat. The engineer is dragging the brakes over this small hump before decent down the steep grade into Two Harbors. This is the last place the engineer has to stop if something doesn't feel right or isn't working right. Patience and time are used as the train slowly crest the grade. The Two Harbors Sub connects with the Iron Range Sub at Waldo, mile behind the train.
