Clean Cubes. A line of six recently painted MP15AC locomotives (EMD, 1977) that still serve as work locomotives today. During an Electric Railroaders Association tour of the MTA Long Island Rail Road Morris Park Facility, Richmond Hill, Queens, New York on March 28, 2009, our group was brought around the grounds to see some of the many different types of locomotives on the property. Although not all were active, it was quite a timeline of EMD, GE, and Alco. In the current era, LIRR is exclusively an EMD railroad.
