| Nevada Northern Railway RS-3 109 and 2-8-0 93 pose side-by-side at the East Ely Depot, depicting a classic scene from the early to mid 1950's when railroads were transitioning from steam to diesel power. Both engines are also products of the American Locomotive Company, showing the evolution of ALCO's locomotive design between the early and mid 20th century. |
