| Waiting in the siding for southbound train I125, a clean rebuilt SD40-2 (transformed into a SD23T4) has command of this 3 car Geometry Train. The "friendly conductor" steps out and radios his location as he prepares to inspect the southbound as it rolls by. After it passes, they will make a reverse move to get back on the mainline to continue track inspection north.... This is a GeMD Locomotive, EMD body with a GE/Wabtec prime mover. It definitely has a unique sound. |
