The daily ALCAN train uses CSXT on either end of its trip between Louisville & Berea, KY, running the ex-L&N Eastern Kentucky Division "Old Road" inbetween. Downtown Frankfort has a variety of ways to shoot trains, but the most popular is highlighting the separated street running tangent. The ALCAN is your best bet, running one way or the other once a day, with the Sand Train running overnight, roundtrip Louisville-Lexington during the week.
