We come for the trains...and stay for the people! "BellRail 1-24" as I call it, or officially known as the "Party Like It's 1979 Diesel Photo Event" at the Kentucky Steam Heritage Corporation's facility in Ravenna, KY, was a huge success. Thanks to all the friends, staff, fans, and volunteers who put in countless hours to make it a wonderful event, not only celebrating the restoration of Norfolk & Western SD40-2 #6162 alongside Family Lines C30-7 #7067, but also having the company of long time friend Emmett Bell (seated at lower left). We were able to shoot multiple scenes with the vintage locomotives and had a great lunch and slide show presentation by Emmett, showcasing his camera work spanning the past few decades. Good friends and collaboration is the glue that keeps this hobby together!
