Susquehanna Special at Sparta. The Operation Toy Train special arrived to a large crowd at Sparta Station on December 9, 2023 with New York, Susquehanna & Western (NYSW) SD40-2 no. 3024 in the lead. Over the course of the day-long run on the NYSW Southern Division, the train collected over 20,000 toys to donate to the US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation!
